We had a couple of incidents with the staff being surly., but nothing terrible. They didn’t not intrude, but managed to surprise us throughout the week with various snacks, frozen drinks, pizzas, etc. The beach and the golf course are the reason we go back. The food was terrific and we especially enjoyed the special "Fish in a foil" from Chef Wesley at the jerk shack. However as more guests began to show up throughout the week, I noticed people entering the cafe, loyalty office or gift shop not wearing masks... and not being asked by staff to put them on. Two areas that need improvement on the corporate side however: 1. Overall, I absolutely love Emerald Bay and the staff. We arrived on July 7th, the day the resort reopened. In the world we live in today, if you want to have some sort of normalcy to your life...to have that feeling back again, Sandals Emerald Bay is where you need to be. Masks were being worn by all staff, and the government of the Bahamas requires all tourists to wear them indoors and when social distancing isn’t possible. Shout out to some AMAZING staff!
